Recycle Sneaker Project is a social movement to collect and upcycle gently worn sneakers while helping to raise money for various schools, charities, and organizations.

By keeping sneakers out of the landfills (where they can take up to 40 years to decompose), we:

  • Reduce our carbon footprint
  • Create lasting economic impacts in developing nations
  • Improve quality of life
  • Support initiatives, campaigns, and fundraisers

The Street of "Reuse"

Shoes are a mode of transportation for many families all over the world. Today, there are children in developing nations wearing water bottles as shoes. The fact that they do not have affordable footwear is both upsetting and unnecessary. The collection of sneakers not only helps the environment by reducing landfill waste, it also provides these sneakers with a second life while giving children and adults the opportunity to lead active and healthy lives.

The Avenue of "Grinding"

At Recycle Sneaker Project, we take all our POST-CONSUMER end of life sneakers and put through our innovated circular system located in our Miami facility to create high quality high purity materials FOR supply chains: (1) Shred & Grind into small GRANULES; (2) Clean out all the dust and dirt; (3) Sort out textile shoddy; (4) Sort out Rubber and Foams; (5) Optical sort foams into EVA, TPU and PU
